St Etienne manager Cristophe Galtier has been working on some "confidential'' tactics to help his side bounce back from defeat against Caen as they prepare for two matches in five days.Les Verts slipped to a 2-0 home defeat last time out and now they travel to Dijon tomorrow followed by the visit of title hopefuls Paris St Germain on Wednesday.
Galtier accepts that the final two matches before the winter break are crucial and has been hatching some plans to make the best of them behind closed doors this week.
He said: "There were some points I wanted to go through with the players and, given the context, I preferred to speak to them without any spectators.
"It was something I wanted to work on for the next game, let's say it was confidential.
"Anything is possible. Big games are coming.''
Jean-Pascal Mignot was criticised for reacting theatrically to a push from Livio Nabab in the Caen match, something that resulted in the latter being harshly sent off.
Asked if he has spoken to his player about the incident, Galtier said: "I did not need to. A look in the dressing room was enough for him to understand and be aware, though I do not usually condemn a player for what happens in a game.
"I believe the experience will be enough.''
Dijon boss Patrice Carteron goes into the game with a near full strength side, welcoming back Samuel Souprayed and Florin Berenguer from suspension, but is already eyeing the possibility of reinforcements when the January transfer window opens.
"I'm still thinking about building my team, but it's a matter of opportunities,'' he told the club's official website.
"In football, everything goes very fast. You have to be ready to anticipate. What is certain is that I will not recruit for the sake of recruiting but to strengthen my team.''
