Darren Ambrose and Jermaine Easter fired Crystal Palace in the quarter-finals of the Carling Cup as touch Nigel Adkins' Midas left him.
The midfielder Ambrose scratched his fourth goal of the season midway through the second half and settled Easter matters from the penalty spot.
