Anderlecht maintained their 100% record in the Champions League with a comfortable 2-0 victory over 10-man Sturm Graz in the UPC-Arena.

Guillaume Gillet scored the first goal of the game on 66 minutes before Matias Suarez scored his fifth in the competition to keep the Dutch team at the top of Group L.

Sturm Thomas Burgstaller defender saw red two minutes after the goal of Gillet for his second offense after soiling can book Anderlecht defender.

Lucas Biglia had a first chance denied by visitors, when Milan Dudic outswinging corner cleared in the third minute.

Manuel Weber and both tried their luck Darko Bodul from 30 yards but Anderlecht goalkeeper Silvio Proto was prepared for the challenge both times, making two stops comfortable.

But it was Gillet who found the back of an empty goal when Cavlina could not keep hold of Mbokani cross, making it easy for the defender, who lost the ball from close range.

Things went from bad to worse for a few seconds later, when Sturm Burgstaller was his second yellow card of the match for a foul on the striker to leave the home team with 10 men for the last 20 minutes.

Suarez made the most of the advantage of a man Anderlecht in the 75th minute when he clung to Mboknani incisive through ball before jumping round and cold Cavlina stroking the ball into the net.

There was no way back for Sturm which recorded its second defeat in the group.
