Manager Jim McIntyre is confident all the pressure of being in Dunfermline when faced East Fife in the communities of Scotland League Cup.
And the Pars boss insists there is no chance that their players do not respect the opposition despite its label of favorites.
Dunfermline club trip to the Irn-Bru Division second in good shape before the second round thanks to an impressive win over Dundee United in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League this weekend.
They have enjoyed an encouraging statement to the top flight, so far, and McIntyre knows he will be favorites to progress Cup clash on Tuesday.
He said: "There is pressure in every game of football so that won't make any difference.
"We are in confident mood and we are looking forward to the game.
"We are playing well but we've got to make sure we approach the game properly.
"People will be expecting us to win this game but it's important when you play lower league sides that you do the right things and approach it in the right manner.''
