Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp understands why last season's top scorer Lucas Barrios is not happy, but says he "cannot please everybody'' as he prepares to leave him out of the side again tomorrow.The Paraguay international has struggled to break back into the Dortmund team after recovering from injury, due in part to the excellent form of his replacement Robert Lewandowski.
He told the Argentinian press last weekend that he no longer feels important, but while Klopp showed compassion, he could not give the 27-year-old any guarantees.
"It is absolutely normal for a player of his quality, who is also a Dortmund legend, not to be happy,'' he said. "But I cannot please everybody.''
And he will not attempt to do so either as he focuses only on winning three points in Freiburg tomorrow.
"I don't see any reason to discuss the current situation with him,'' added Klopp at the pre-match press conference.
"I don't need to speak with him about a transfer, which is not very likely.''
While Barrios will therefore have to be patient before returning to the starting XI, Sebastian Kehl could come straight back in despite picking up a serious facial injury against Marseille last week.
"It is looking good for him tomorrow,'' said Klopp, who will be without Mario Gotze through injury.
Freiburg come into the game on the back of a disappointing 4-0 defeat to Cologne, but their coach Marcus Sorg feels the frustration from that game could lead to a coup at the Dreisamstadion.
"Of course Dortmund are a fantastic side, but we have been very self-critical about our last game and now want to mobilise ourselves to try and get something against the German champions,'' he said.
Sorg is without the suspended Julian Schuster but other unenforced changes to the starting XI are also likely.
"After such a game like Cologne, it is legitimate to consider changes,'' said the coach at the pre-match press conference
