Luke Moore goal gave npower League Two side AFC Wimbledon a 1-0 win against Scunthorpe in round replay FA Cup first.
After a goalless first encounter, he could not break the deadlock again in the first half of a tense game Glanford Park.
The Dons came close in the first few minutes when a free kick from the edge of the area by Sam Hatton was rejected in full by goalkeeper Sam Slocombe.
Scunthorpe, without a goal in five of their last seven games, squandered their best chance in the 16th minute when striker Bobby Grant shot tamely at goal when well placed.
It was the home team that started the second half strongly, but again could not capitalize Grant a good opening, while striker Andy Barcham curling effort was easily saved.
But it was at Wimbledon, who opened the scoring on 65 minutes when Moore scored the rebound after a shot from substitute Jack Midson had been blocked in their path in the box.
They could have beaten back a couple of minutes later but striker Carlos Ademeno lifted his shot over short distances.
Substitute Garry Thompson came close to an equalizer in Scunthorpe, but his shot was deflected away.
Wimbledon also had another scare when a center of Barcham bounced off the top of the bar, but the Dons held on to earn his first victory in eight games and a trip to Bradford in the second round.
