Aleksejs Visnjakovs the first half of the strike and Artjoms Rudnevs' goal earned victory over Malta in Latvia Euro 2012 qualifier in Riga Skonto Stadions.
Neither side can qualify from Group F before kickoff, and with only pride to play for the home team began to dominate early and went to pick up his third win of the season to move to 11 points, 10 above bottom side Malta.
