Aberdeen manager Craig Brown has backed Mohamed Chalali to add a creative spark and the goals of his team as the striker prepares to join the Dons.
The Algerian Under-23 international is due to arrive in Greece to complete his move from Panionios, and could even make his debut in the communities of Scotland League Cup against Dundee.
The former Le Havre player spent last week training with the Pittodrie club and Brown believes he can help offset the loss of Chris Maguire to Derby.
Aberdeen boss is confident the 22-year-old will delight fans who joins Scott Vernon, Darren Mackie and Josh Magennis in the department of the strike of the Dons.
