Malaysia won the final ticket sport of football. In the semi-final match that was held at the Bung Karno Main Stadium, they won 1-0 over Myanmar.

For the record, Malaysia is the defending champion in the SEA Games. Two years ago in Laos they beat Vietnam 1-0.
