Anderlecht advanced to the knockout stage of the Europa League after they maintained their 100% winning record in Group L playing with 10 men Sturm Graz 3-0.
The Belgian club only needs one more point to the progress of the last 32 and said that thanks to goals from Guillaume Gillet, Matias Suarez and Tom De Sutter.
Gillet scored on 23 minutes before Suarez and De Sutter sealed the victory in the second half after defender Fernando Feldhofer Sturm was expelled for his second bookable offense.
The result leaves Austrian side Sturm third in the group with three points, three behind to beat Lokomotiv Moscow 3-1 at AEK Athens in the other group match on Thursday.
It was an open start the game, but Sturm was forced to an early substitution when striker Andreas Hoelzl was replaced by midfielder Patrick due to injury in the eighth minute of the Wolf.
Anderlecht striker Suarez showed his intentions from the beginning when his strike from 20 yards was rejected by Silvije Cavlina nine minutes before Manuel Sturm Weber tried his hand at the other end with a speculative 25-yard strike that flew wide.
