Osasuna produced a dominant display to beat Real Zaragoza 3-0 in their clash of the First Division at the Reyno de Navarra.

Zaragoza had not been addressed defend set pieces all evening and Raul Garcia opened the scoring after 18 minutes when the visitors did not clear a long throw into the box. Nino doubled the advantage of another throw-in and Javad Nekounam marked the selection of targets with a fantastic header after half an hour loop.

The home team should have added to it in numerous occasions in the second half.

Nino audacious effort from just over half was saved well by Robert and Alvaro Cejudo could not make contact when presented with an open target.

José Luis Mendilibar had asked his team to play in a traditional style of intense Osasuna before the game and most of the obligation as the defense of Zaragoza failed to deal with both the physical appearance of the host to the game and excellent delivery the picture of the range areas.

Garcia continued his streak since rejoined the club on loan from Atletico Madrid in the first game as Nino struck a loose ball in the area for volleyball midfielder his fourth goal of the season.

The movement of the tiny Nino de Zaragoza Ibrahima Balde was causing all sorts of problems and was denied by Roberto worth a stop on 25 minutes before going into the record two minutes later.

Marc Bertran-reaching in the area is lit by Garcia and Nino extended volley the ball on the floor and Roberto.

The home team were in full swing, and added another goal three minutes later. Nekounam hit a free kick in the belly of Helder Postiga, who was placed on the wall of Zaragoza, before Ibrahima turned the ball from the right and his header brilliantly controlled Nekounam to go diving Roberto.

Zaragoza complained to both the referee Osasuna players and the game should have been arrested Postiga on the ground, but was less fighting in the second period as Osasuna continued to dominate.

Ibrahima should have scored when presented with the ball at the far post, as Zaragoza could not defend a corner, but before all the effort in full Nino slices 45 yards was brilliantly tipped over by Roberto.

Cejudo lost the glorious opportunity as the other corner was played across the goal to Zaragoza, but the midfielder failed to make contact.

Not that it mattered for men Mendilibar, who watched the game in comfort to record their first win in six games and go over Zaragoza and 10 in the table.
