Champions League Viktoria Plzen vs BATE Borisov play on Struncovy Sady Stadion. Pavel Vrba coach has a full squad to choose from for the opening game of his team in the Champions League against BATE. Despite playing at home Plzen are down for the night on Tuesday and, as such, are expected to line-up on the defensive against the 4-4-2 formation adopted in the home qualifying matches.


Mateja Kezman is expected to make his comeback in the Champions League after a season in the desert. The former PSV striker is likely to substitute Vitaliy Rodionov, who suffered a serious knee injury in 2-2 draw against BATE Minsk and will be out for six months.
